In 2002 the gap between an internal under- and postgraduate Megacode training facility and the todays full scale interdisciplinary simulation center had been started to close with a simulation center for anesthesia and emergency medicine in 4 old operating rooms. First external courses mainly covering pre- and in-hospital emergency training in OR and ICU were offered. Fast growing course volume and frequency and the jump to interdisciplinarity with an endoscopy simulator led to the founding of ISIMED in 2003. Two years later ISIMED moved to 2 completely reconstructed former wards and is now able to offer high fidelity pre- and in-hospital simulation in very realistic settings, such as emergency room, OR, PACU or ICU.
Our Instructors are specially trained and have years of teaching experience. For individual and team performance analysis we have our own psychologist available for training and debriefing.
We offer all of our courses also in your facility within your well known team structure and equipment.
